Lawrence Nelson III

Lawrence Nelson III is a second-generation builder with deep roots in the Atlanta area and a lifelong connection to the world of residential and commercial construction. Raised in Smoke Rise, Georgia, Lawrence grew up immersed in the building industry, gaining decades of hands-on exposure from a young age.

After graduating from Greater Atlanta Christian School in 2015, Lawrence attended Tufts University in Boston, Massachusetts, where he earned a degree in Political Science. Despite his time away, his passion for building and design drew him back home to Georgia. In 2023, he, along with his father, Lawrence Jr., founded LVL 3 Construction—a company rooted in craftsmanship, community, and integrity.

Lawrence is passionate about the entire construction process—from design to completion—and is committed to creating spaces that add lasting value to Atlanta’s vibrant neighborhoods. His work reflects a deep appreciation for both function and form, and he leads his business with the same faith-based principles that guide his personal life.

He is an active member of Victory Midtown Church, and his values of faith, service, and excellence are embedded into the culture of LVL 3.

Outside of work, Lawrence enjoys spending quality time with his wife, Rebecca, and their one-year-old son, Lorenzo Lukai. Whether he's on a job site or at home with his family, Lawrence is driven by a vision to build thoughtfully and leave a legacy for generations to come.
